Throughout 2021 PRM employees endeavoured on numerous fundraising activities in support of Air Ambulance NI (AANI). The charity works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide the only Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the province. This service delivers urgent pre-hospital care directly to people who are critically ill or injured on average twice per day.
In August, PRM Group sponsored the annual Air Ambulance NI Super Car Sunday. The event was a huge success with thousands turning out to see the magnificent range of super cars on display, raising £54,119.19 that was split evenly between Air Ambulance NI and the Northern Ireland Hospice.
In September, PRM Group sponsored their inaugural Dragon Boat Race in Belfast. A massive thank you to everyone at PRM who participated! The PRM Team came in a close second place. The event was a great success raising a total of £26,000 for hugely important local charity, funding 5 more days of the service.
As a thank you for our continued support throughout 2021, AANI invited the PRM Dragon Boat Team to visit their Air Base to hear from the team the impact our fundraising efforts are having.
In December, many festive fundraising activities took place throughout the office to help raise further funds for Air Ambulance NI; the Christmas charity raffle, Festive Dress Day and the Christmas Lunch. All together raising an additional £500 for AANI.
As a company we have supported Air Ambulance NI for almost 2 years now and will continue to do so throughout 2022. Their life-saving service requires £5,500 each day in fundraising, so public donations are crucial. Any money we can raise will help to save lives, brains, and limbs!
