For 35 years PRM has mastered the challenge of market penetration for chilled brands across the island of Ireland. The family run business was set up by CEO & Founder Philip Morrow along with his wife Lynne Morrow in 1988. Initially the company was built upon supplying local retailers in Northern Ireland, many of whom remain as valued customers to this day.
Now in 2023 in addition to their core sales & distribution platform the company operate two food production sites and offer a wide range of haulage, logistics and distribution services across the island of Ireland.
We are delighted to have reached this wonderful milestone of 35 years in business, which we know wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible team we have built up over those years. To show our appreciation to our team we organised a fun day on Wednesday 6th September at our Lisburn HQ.
The day kicked off with our lorry driving challenge where we gave all of our staff the opportunity to learn to drive a lorry, maneuvering it around a simple obstacle course (and of course things got very competitive)! Then everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch grazing table from Rare Grazing NI.
Throughout the day a number of other activities were organized for everyone to take part in at their own leisure like our company quiz, hole in one, giant connect 4 and buzz wire.
Lunch was either a burger and fries from Pig Out or a woodfired pizza from Garlic & Thyme, enjoyed outside in the glorious sunshine. Spirits were high as everyone enjoyed the day’s festivities.
We closed out the day with an ice cream from Taylors and a companywide raffle, where every employee’s name was put into a hat, giving everyone an equal opportunity of winning a prize. Prizes included; an Apple Watch, Airpods, amazon echo’s, a model lorry, a range of vouchers for local shops and restaurants, branded clothing, and more!
